My name is Rafal Nowicki

I’m a photographer originally from Poland and since 2017 Tilburg has been my home. The Black Lives Matter demonstration in 2020 was my first big challenge - it was a trigger to my passion for photography and my inspiration to keep expanding my knowledge at Fotografika, an online school in Poland, where I am not just developing my technical skills but also I am seeking to refine my unique style and dialect of expression. For me, a photoshoot is always a chance to connect with the subject in front of the camera. That interaction allows me to get to know people closely so that each frame becomes a mirror reflecting their truest selves.
